SolidWorks: breaking news and opportunities in 2026. Presented by developers

RTU HPC Centre, in partnership with PLM Group, the official partner of SOLIDWORKS, is hosting an online webinar for RTU students, researchers, and teaching staff. The webinar will take place on January 15 from 10:00 to 12:00.

Learning opportunities and resources for students and trainers will be presented during the course of the training, as well as stories about certification opportunities.

The session will start with an introduction to SOLIDWORKS Design, covering the core functionality and explaining how educational and research licences work, including key differences compared to commercial licences.

Participants will also be introduced to additional SOLIDWORKS products and add-ins, available learning and teaching resources, certification opportunities, and the benefits of using 3DEXPERIENCE for cloud-based collaboration and content sharing.
