MATLAB, also referred to as the matrix laboratory, is a high-level language and interactive environment for numerical calculations, visualisation and programming.

MATLAB Distributed Computing Server (MDCS) is a MATLAB extension for parallel computing in the cluster. Find more information on the use of MDCS here.

Third party use  option means that any researcher from the Baltic States can use MATLAB on the RTU cluster for academic purposes, without purchasing additional software licences (namely, by using the RTU’s licence legally).
