HPC Centre workshop “Parallel computing with MATLAB”

Riga Technical University HPC Centre in cooperation with MathWorks organised a workshop “Parallel computing with MATLAB”, which took place at RTU Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering on 12 October 2016.

The workshop was hosted by Raymond Norris, who is a parallel computing engineer representing the MATLAB headquarters, USA.

The workshop offered a deeper insight into MATLAB’s understanding of parallel computing. Participants saw how to modify a code to parallelise MATLAB programs and how to transfer a code from a personal computer to a computing cluster. At the end, participants could forward MATLAB tasks to RTU HPC cluster.
