Comsol Multiphysics Workshop
On 19 January, HPC Centre together with Optek organised an introductory workshop to Comsol Multiphysics.
Participants were introduced to the Comsol Multiphysics software and its functionality. Comsol Multiphysics is used for numerical simulation of physical processes and allows calculation of heat and fluid transfers and solving of electrical, mechanical and chemical problems. The workshop mainly dealt with the following Comsol Multiphysics functionalities — problem definition, calculations, and result processing, and participants performed calculations using their own computers and the previously issued software licences.
